INTRODUCTION
The
Chilean Water Ski Federation kindly invites all the National Water Ski
Federations belonging to the IWSF Pan American Confederation to the COPA
AMERICA 2008 to be held in Santiago, Chile.

LOCATION OF THE SITE
Laguna
“Los Morros”, Camino NOS # 11333, San Bernardo
Carretera Panamericana Sur – Km. 25
(Pan American Highway South)
The site “ Laguna Los Morros “ is located 35 km south from
the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport and 25 kms south from the
centre of the city of Santiago and 45
minutes drive away from the official hotel.
The site is a man-made lake which has been used for a major number
of national and international tournaments in the 12 years since it was established.
The competition area is lawned and a well sheltered area with minimum
backwash. Situated in the beautiful
Central Valley, the area is surrounded by hills, vineyards and natural bush.
OFFICIAL ENTRY
FORM
The Organizing Committee kindly asks you to send the
enclosed “Official Entry form” to the Chilean Water Ski Federation BEFORE
JANUARY 31, 2008 by e-mail at: fedesqui@sanpablosa.cl
.
Notice: All the skiers taking part of the tournament
should be listed in the tournament by their respective Federations.
Entry forms will be required as soon as possible
because there will be a limited room of skiers per event. The Entry Fee has a
cost of US$ 100 per skier.
TRAINING ON SITE
It will be possible
to train on the official site from March 1st, 2008, at a cost of US$
200.00 per hour.

RESERVATIONS
FOR TRAINING
·
Training at the official site will be possible from March 1st, 2008 to
March 19th, 2008.

Cost of training: US$ 200.00 per hour.
·
Training will only be paid in cash when arriving in Chile.
VISA
If the necessary personal information is provided and if
requested, the Organizing Committee will issue official visa invitations to all
participants, officials, delegates and guests. They may apply for visas with
the invitation at the Chilean Embassy or Consulate in their country.
COMPETITION BOAT
The official tow-boats for the event will be the 2007
Ski Nautique, complete with Perfect Pass Pro,
ACCOMMODATION
Accomodation will be paid by the Organization at the hotel
available for the competition. Otherwise, all skiers can choose their own hotel
and in this case, The Organization won’t pay for any accommodation.
LUNCH
Lunch for teams and
officials will be supplied at the site free of charge from March 20th,
2008.
TRANSPORT
Transport will be supplied by the Organizers from the
airport to the official hotel. The cost of the transport will be paid in cash
by the skier or National teams to the company in charge. In the Bulletin 2 we
will inform you both the cost and the contact details for the transport.
From the moment the tournament starts, transportation will
be supplied by the Organizers from the hotel to the site and vice- versa free
of charge.
There will be transport free of charge for all the officials
taking part of COPA AMERICA.
FINAL
NIGHT BANQUET
All teams and officials are invited to the final night
banquet. Tickets will be on sale at a cost of US$ 40 during the event for
guests and other interested persons.

The tournament will
have semifinals and finals. The half plus one will go into the finals with a
maximum of six (6) skiers both men and women in every category.
